Connected but aloneOne of the assignments I had was creating an informative speech on a subject of my choice. I chose Social Media and how even though it lets everybody be more connected than ever before, it could also foster loneliness. It is a topic that is very relatable for many people as Social Media gains affluence as means for connecting to the rest of the world. It has become a place to meet people, maintain relationships, conduct business and even get informed about the happenings in the world. Learning more about Social Media's influence on people's lives promotes informed decision-making when it comes to using this tool.
